Running like mad

3 weeks to go before my Spartan Beast Race.  I know some of you are wondering what the race is - so let me give you a summary.  It will be a 12-13 mile race with 25 obstacles.  Obstacles include things such as rope climb, crawling through mud, jumping over walls and carrying heavy objects up a mountain.

The only other organized race I've done prior to this was a 5K.  So I will be lucky if I finish it alive.

Here is my week summary

Mon - Run with lunges and burpees = 1 hr.
Tues - Shoulders and Arms + Ab Ripper X = 1 hr 15 mins
Wed - Run with lunges, pullups and burpees = 1 hr.
Thurs - Run with lunges, pullups and burpees = 1 hr.
Fri - Rest
Sat - Run with lunges, pullups and burpees = 2 hrs.

Total = 6 hr 15 mins
